Training
Specific training by muscle group
Strength work is any type of exercise through the use of extra resistance such as machines, tires, dumbbells, bars, etc. There are 3 types of muscle groups: Large: pectoral, dorsal and quadriceps. Medium: biceps, triceps, shoulders, hamstrings, glutes and abdominals. Small: forearm, neck and calf. Small muscle groups are not usually trained unless the type of sport you practice requires it. To perform a good workout, large muscle groups must be combined with medium muscle groups that are in the same area, upper body or lower body. For example, chest and biceps.
